What are Infrared Heaters?

Infrared heaters are a fairly new technology to the UK market but are widely used around the world. Trusted and loved by many as you feel the effects of the heat instantly. With varying benefits including increased heating efficiency and reduced risk of flaring up allergies.

How does infrared heating work?

Infrared heating is the superior form of heating. Unlike a standard blower heater or storage heater, infrared heaters heat objects and surfaces rather than the air. Once an object (person, floor, ceiling etc.) has absorbed its maximum amount of thermal energy, the air is then heated as a secondary.

The Benefits of an infrared heater.

There is a multitude of benefits to owning an infrared heater One of which is that it is space-saving making it ideal for interior design. They can be personalised.

These heaters DO NOT circulate dust, allergens or pollen, unlike blower heaters, making it perfect for those susceptible to allergies.

How to use?

An infrared heater can be mounted on any wall or ceiling in the room that has access to a standard plug socket. Alternatively, you could have it connect straight to the mains via a cable in the wall. We also have a range of digital thermostats that can go alongside a heater. Some of the products even have built in thermostats and timers that you can control with ease using a handy app on your phone.
